Hello and welcome. My name is Pilar and I am proud to be part of a small group of professional estheticians who specialize their skincare services using only natural and organic products. Staying true to my beliefs has not always been easy, but has always been worth it. For over 17 years my goals of integrity of the work (never sacrificing my time with the client), purity (in choosing only the highest quality products), and ultimately culminating in results through my commitment to each client.
Facial treatments start under a warm rose steam where skin analysis will begin. Next, a deep cleansing of the face with a lymphatic massage is performed while I begin to create a personalized treatment plan for your skin. An appropriate level of exfoliation (levels vary from enzymes to acid peels), extractions - if needed/wanted, a treatment serum and a cool aromatic steam to calm and hydrate the skin round out the service. The skin is then nourished with organic oils and handmade algae water. A facial massage follows that tones, refines and supports the skin, preparing it for a specialty mask that pulls the treatment into final balance. Simultaneously as a bonus service, a hot stone neck massage is given. A serum boost and SPF are applied and to leave you with a fabulous Glow!
Signature Facial Treatment - 75 minutes
$145 - $160
The focus of this treatment is purely on nourishing the skin through the very best and healthiest products, while refining the texture and tone of the skin through hands-on techniques. This facial is designed for people who do not need or do not want extractions.
Signature Facial Treatment - 90 minutes
$160 - $180
The focus of this treatment is to balance, recover and re-establish total health of the skin, starting with cleansing the skin of unwanted impurities or impactions. You will then be treated to all of the service and benefits included in the 75 minute facial.
I support all of my treatments with three product lines: Sircuit Skin - a natural Cosmeceutical line, Osea of Malibu - a sea nutrient rich line and Image Skincare - a Medical/Organic line.

Once Upon A Timeas an accomplished jewelry designer, I worked with a variety of raw materials to create unique pieces that showcased my creative artistic expression. Today, I am Washington D.C.'s top organic skincare specialist and my materials of choice are only the most natural and organic ingredients available. My signature facials have a reputation of being unique and individualized, as I create each one based on the client's specific needs at the time of service. From the mixing of natural oils, to the use of hand prepared algae waters, to my signature hot stone neck massage, my facials are truly a unique fusion of both hands-on techniques and the purest ingredients. No two facials are alike and no facial is ever replicated. I attribute my unique working style to both my artistic roots and my commitment to unadulterated ingredients. Now as I celebrate over 30,000 facials performed, I truly consider myself a "skincare artist," dedicated to the craft of achieving the most successful skincare results naturally.
Experience
My experience is quite vast, having both collaborated and worked alongside plastic surgeons and dermatologists, acupuncturists, herbalists, and massage therapists; as well as, taught aesthetics for five years. Most of my career was as a business owner on both the west and east coasts. And while owning a successful business was fulfilling, I enter into this new venture, working with a reputable and successful salon, with the goal of bringing my wealth of experience to the client by solely focusing on their care alone.
Inspiration and Insight
When artists work with a medium, they are searching to discover all the potential that specific material holds within it. I now recognize that as an aesthetician, I make it my professional goal to discover this same potential in the skincare products I choose for my clients. As we are inundated every day with an overwhelming supply and variety of beauty products and their claims, I strive to provide my clients with only the healthiest choices. Over my 16 year career, I have utilized, researched, and experimented with over two dozen of the top professional skincare lines. As the owner of Studio Organics, I had the largest inventory of over 2000 professional American made organics products. And while I have personal experience validating that products alone can achieve noticeable results, years of personal research and application have taught and convinced me of the significance and value of whole body wellness to outer beauty, as well as inner peace. I know and care for my clients, enjoy exceeding their expectations, and look forward to working with you.
